Today is Smoosh Blog's one year anniversay. It's also been a year since Smoosh came to live with us! Last June, Smoosh (then called Sammi) was willed to David's family after his owner passed away. Due to Smoosh's fear of everything he came to live with me in my one bedroom apartment. I had told David, I would look past my allergies if he could find me an orange-eyed, slightly chubby cat and behold! He showed me this video shortly thereafter. Fate(zens).
June 3rd, 2010 Smoosh arrived! He then hid for 3 days, mostly in the back of my record cabinet. On June 13th, Smoosh sat on the couch for the first time. A glorious day! And in one week, Smoosh Blog began!
Thanks to everyone who has followed and supported Smoosh (especially through the hard times, like when those dogs beat him in the furniture contest). And many thanks to David and his family, because Smoosh Blog would not exist without them!
